Diamondbacks re-signed LHP Tommy Henry to a minor league contract,
After being non-tendered last month, Henry is back with the only organization he’s ever known. The 28-year-old, who is 10-11 with a 5.07 ERA in 32 starts and five relief appearances as a major leaguer, is slated to miss most of all of 2026 following Tommy John surgery in July.

Diamondbacks non-tendered RHP Taylor Rashi and LHP Tommy Henry.
Henry was DFA’d earlier in the week. Rashi, 29, made his major league debut for the Diamondbacks last season, posting a 4.41 ERA and picking up a couple of surprise saves in 16 1/3 innings. Still, that he throws 90 mph and still struggles with his command doesn’t bode well.

Diamondbacks designated LHP Tommy Henry for assignment.
Henry’s removal from Arizona’s 40-man roster comes after he underwent Tommy John surgery back in early July. The 28-year-old southpaw will miss most of, if not all, of next season while working his way back.

Diamondbacks recalled LHP Tommy Henry from Triple-A Reno; placed him on the 60-day injured list.
The procedural move opens a spot on Arizona’s 40-man roster. Henry underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery earlier this week and will be sidelined into the 2026 campaign.

The Diamondbacks announced Friday that left-hander Tommy Henry will undergo Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery.
The 27-year-old southpaw will have plenty of company during his recovery as A.J. Puk and Justin Martinez are among the other Diamondbacks’ hurlers who recently had the same procedure done. Henry will miss the rest of the 2025 season and most of the 2026 campaign while recovering from the procedure.

Diamondbacks optioned LHP Tommy Henry to Triple-A Reno.
The 27-year-old southpaw made just two appearances during his brief stay with the Diamondbacks, posting a 4.05 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and an 8/1 K/BB ratio over 6 2/3 innings. He should get another opportunity with the big league club in relatively short order.

Diamondbacks recalled LHP Tommy Henry from Triple-A Reno.
Henry gets the call in spite of a 7.39 ERA in 10 starts for Reno. He’ll pitch in middle relief for now. The 27-year-old has a career ERA of 5.03 in 32 starts and four relief appearances for Arizona.

Initial tests on Corbin Burnes’ elbow were inconclusive, and the right-hander is going for a second opinion according to John Gambadoro of ArizonaSports.com.
Not ideal. Burnes, who was injured during his start Sunday, figures to be placed on the injured list prior to Tuesday’s game. Tommy Henry is expected to take his spot on the active roster, but Ryne Nelson is the obvious choice to replace him in Arizona’s rotation.

Diamondbacks optioned LHP Tommy Henry to Triple-A Reno.
Henry returns to the minors after tossing 2 2/3 scoreless frames on Monday against the Mets in a bulk relief appearance. The 27-year-old southpaw figures to get another look in the near future as a long reliever, but the Diamondbacks are going to summon a fresh arm for now.

Diamondbacks recalled LHP Tommy Henry from Triple-A Reno.
The bullpen carousel keeps on spinning for Arizona with Henry becoming the latest addition to the chaos ahead of Sunday’s series finale against the Phillies. The 27-year-old southpaw hasn’t pitched in the big leagues this season after making nine appearances (seven starts) last year for the Diamondbacks. He figures to pitch in long relief on Monday when Ryne Nelson makes a spot start in place of an injured Corbin Burnes.
