Indians acquired INF/OF Victor Nova from the Padres as part of a three-team, seven-player trade.
Nova is a 19-year-old from the Dominican Republic who has put up a promising .330/.421/.451 batting line with one home run and seven stolen bases over 26 games this summer in the rookie-level Arizona League. He’s played third base, second base, left field, and center field in his short professional career.
