Formula E has confirmed the prize breakdown for the upcoming eRace in Las Vegas that will see the winning driver walk away with at least $200,000.
Formula E announced in July that it would be adding a virtual round to its season three calendar, acting as a non-championship event in Las Vegas on January 7.
The 20 Formula E drivers will be joined in the event by 10 online qualifiers, as found through the ‘Road To Vegas’ scheme that has been launched for virtual racers.
Formula E confirmed a $1 million prize fund for the event at the beginning of the month, with the full breakdown being released on Thursday.
The winner of the event will pick up $200,000, with a further $25,000 on offer for pole position and $10,000 for the fastest lap of the race.
The runner-up will win $100,000, with third getting $50,000. The prize money then falls on a sliding scale to $20,000 for all drivers finishing from P11 to P30.
