NASCAR videos: Dillon brothers on big Xfinity crash early in Friday’s race

Austin Dillon shares his side of the crash that knocked him out of the Subway Firecracker 250 early.

Both Austin Dillon and younger brother Ty spoke with NBC after the 14-car “big one” wreck on Lap 15 of Friday night’s Subway Firecracker 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

For Austin Dillon, he claimed he made a mistake of not getting low enough on the track to avoid some of the carnage around him.

As for Ty Dillon, he agreed with his older brother that many of their fellow drivers simply got too excited, too soon and too early in the race.
