Chris Duhon will get his first NBA start tonight.
Duhon is getting revenge over Ben Gordon for the result of last season’s Duke/UConn Final Four tilt.
  • LAL Point Guard #21
Raptors sign Chris Duhon to an offer sheet.
It’s assumed that Chicago will match the offer, however terms like ''more than likely’’ are being kicked around, so don’t count on anything until you see it. That said, we’d also be surprised if the Bulls don’t match the offer, which is believed to total between $7 million and $8 million over three years.
  • LAL Point Guard #21
Bulls match Toronto’s offer to guard Chris Duhon.
He’ll be the starting point guard in Chicago this season, and will be a lower-tiered point guard for fantasy leagues.
  • LAL Point Guard #21
Chris Duhon will have back surgery in a couple weeks.
The procedure will repair a herniated disc and remove scar tissue from the young point guard’s back, meaning he should be ready for the start of training camp.
  • LAL Point Guard #21
Chris Duhon’s recovery from back surgery is not progressing as quickly as the Bulls were hoping.
He had surgery on May 24 and should be fine by the start of the season.
  • LAL Point Guard #21
Chris Duhon started for injured/resting Jameer Nelson (knee) on Thursday, scoring six points on 3-of-9 shooting (no threes) with three rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block in 28 minutes.
If you used Duhon in a spot-start we’d call this line a win, so remember that the next time Nelson goes out and Duhon gets the nod.
  • Point Guard #14
Jameer Nelson (knee) is fully expected to play on Wednesday against the Wizards.
Nelson participated in a full practice on Tuesday and did not suffer any setback. Chris Duhon will be sent back to the bench with Nelson back in the starting lineup.
  • Point Guard #14
Jameer Nelson (calf) is questionable to play in Thursday’s game vs. New York.
This injury came out of nowhere and is devastating for anyone who rolled the dice on Jameer, since Orlando only plays three times this week. He was a game-time call with the injury on Tuesday so ideally he will be able to suit up -- if not, veteran Chris Duhon will get another start at PG.
  • LAL Point Guard #21
Chris Duhon started at point guard on Tuesday and had 13 points, four rebounds and five assists as Jameer Nelson sat out with a calf injury.
Nelson’s injury doesn’t appear to be serious, meaning Duhon should continue to be ignored in fantasy circles for now.
  • LAL Point Guard #21
Chris Duhon (foot) participated in all of shootaround on Friday.
Duhon’s foot injury clearly isn’t anything serious if he went through the entire session. It’s unclear if or when he will regain his backup point guard spot from Ish Smith at some point in the future, but neither player carries fantasy appeal.
