Spurs signed G Curtis Jerrells from the D-League.
Jerrells has averaged 20.7 points for the Austin Toros, but is not likely to see enough playing time to accumulate any fantasy value.
  • Small Forward #7
The Spurs announced have recalled guard/forward Alonzo Gee and guard Curtis Jerrells from the D-League.
Neither player should see much action in the playoffs, but could be used if Gregg Popovich feels the need to foul heavily.
  • NOP Shooting Guard
The Hornets have acquired point guard Curtis Jerrells from the Spurs, in exchange for a future second-round pick.
The Hornets depth chart behind Chris Paul features an out-of-position Willie Green, and Mustafa Shakur. Jerrells could work his way into the rotation but we don’t anticipate him having fantasy value.
  • IND Point Guard
Sundiata Gaines is the favorite to land a roster spot with the Wolves, who have been hit by the injury bug at PG.
Gaines, Aaron Miles, Curtis Jerrells, and Trey Johnson were among the hopefuls, and the winner could get pressed into some action with Sebastian Telfair the only real PG on the roster. Regardless, none of them are capable of having fantasy value so stay away.
  • NOP Shooting Guard
The Hornets have waived guard Curtis Jerrells.
Jerrells was just acquired last week for a future second-round pick, but he was made redundant by the arrival of Jerryd Bayless (for a future first-round pick).
  • NOP Shooting Guard
Free agent guard Curtis Jerrells will work out for several teams this week, starting with the Timberwolves.
Jerrells seems like a logical short-term addition to the Wolves’ roster, considering both Jonny Flynn (hip) and Luke Ridnour (hamstring) are out with injuries.
  • TOR Guard-Forward #17
Garrett Temple, the Spurs’ starting point guard for summer league, is likely out for the remainder of the week with a sprained left ankle.
Curtis Jerrells will take over the point guard duties for the week, while Temple’s injury doesn’t appear to be too serious at this point.
