Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said on Friday that Danny Wolf (ankle) will not play again this season.
Wolf, the 27th overall pick in last June’s draft, injured his ankle during a March 22 game against the Kings and has not played since. With Michael Porter Jr. also done for the year, Ziaire Williams has taken on added fantasy value in recent games. Wolf appeared in 57 games as a rookie, averaging 8.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 20.8 minutes. While wasn’t productive enough to become a must-roster player, there were nights when Wolf was a worthwhile streamer in deep leagues.

Michael Porter Jr. (hamstring) will miss the rest of the NBA season.
Having missed the Nets’ past 11 games, Porter Jr. will miss the team’s remaining regular-season games, head coach Jordi Fernandez announced on Friday. The championship-winning forward will finish the season having averaged 24.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. With Danny Wolf also out, Ziaire Williams should remain a productive fantasy contributor.
  • BKN Forward #2
Danny Wolf (ankle) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Hornets.
Wolf remains out for the fifth consecutive game, which likely means that Ziaire Williams will start since Terance Mann is also out. When allowed to start, Williams is worth a look in deep leagues.
  • BKN Center #33
Nets reporter Erik Slater reports that Danny Wolf (ankle) and Noah Clowney (wrist) are out for Monday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers, and Nic Claxton (rest) is available.
Claxton sat out Sunday, but he’ll be available for the second leg of Brooklyn’s back-to-back set. Claxton should see significant work in the frontcourt, especially since Day’Ron Sharpe (thumb) has also been ruled out.

Danny Wolf (ankle) is out for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Kings.
Wolf sprained his left ankle when he landed on the foot of teammate Terance Mann during the second quarter of Sunday’s game. Requiring assistance to get back to the locker room, the rookie is out for at least the rest of the night. Chaney Johnson and E.J. Liddell have been the reserve frontcourt players, and the Nets will likely go small for stretches as well.

Michael Porter Jr. (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in two-to-three weeks.
More likely than not, MPJ’s season is over. He was diagnosed with a left hamstring strain, and the Nets are looking to improve their lottery odds. Having MPJ out of the lineup will help with that. Danny Wolf should remain in the starting unit and be a solid producer for managers that need a streamer.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney (wrist) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
Clowney suffered a sprained right wrist during the first quarter of Wednesday’s game and will not return. He played eight minutes, finishing with three points (1-of-5 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) and two rebounds. Danny Wolf and Chaney Johnson are two players whose minutes may increase with Clowney done for the night, with the former already in the starting lineup.

Michael Porter Jr. (ankle) is questionable to play against the Thunder on Wednesday.
MPJ has missed Brooklyn’s last three games, but an upgrade to questionable means he could return to take on OKC. Danny Wolf has been starting in his place and would be worth streaming if MPJ remains sidelined for another outing.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (ankle) is out for Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Porter is set to miss his third consecutive game with a right ankle sprain. Danny Wolf should continue to start in Porter’s absence and is worth a look in deeper formats under these circumstances.

Danny Wolf had 15 points (4-of-9 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the 76ers.
Wolf remained in the starting lineup with Michael Porter Jr. (ankle) out. The 21-year-old power forward had 15 points on nine field goal attempts and 10 rebounds in the loss to the 76ers on Saturday. Wolf has been worth streaming in deeper formats when he’s in the starting lineup. The Nets have four games upcoming in Week 21, starting with a matchup against the Trail Blazers on Monday.
