Bremer

Bremer shot 28.5 percent from the field in 31 games with Cleveland before being waived March 3. He’ll help fill in at the point for Golden State, which has been hurt by injuries to Speedy Claxton and Nick Van Exel.

A good pickup for the Warriors if it happens, as they have been hurt by point guard injuries. Bremer was released by Cleveland March 3.

We’re a little skeptical on this report, and we think it’s worth pointing out that the last time Bremer had a blurb was in 2004, when the Bobcats selected him in the expansion draft.

Tony Delk scored just two points as Boston’s starting point guard. It’s unclear whether the two players will switch roles yet again.

''I think (Delk’s) playing well,’' coach Jim O’Brien said. ''He’s healthy. I think JR’s struggling a little bit, and we played our best basketball last game with Tony Delk at the point.’'

Bremer will join Fenerbahce and his NBA career is more than likely over.

Bremer also hit six threes, had five boards and two assists. Keep in mind, this was against the hapless Clippers and he’s had games like this before. He has shown flashes of brilliance this year, but continues to play inconsistently, so don’t get too excited about this performance. That said, he has gone for 20 or more points in three of his last five games, so he is definitely worth consideration.

The Cavs rode Bremer’s hot hand, using him over Darius Miles for much of the game. If Bremer plays like this often -- something that’s not all that likely to happen -- Miles’ value would drop.

He cooled off tonight, shooting just 1-of-10 from the floor. Bremer will probably be inconsitent all year and should not be relied upon unless he becomes a starter for the Cavs.

He could eventually have some value as the Warriors are depleted at the guard position.
