John Edwards was finally moved to the Pacers in a sign-and-trade deal that also saw Al Harrington go to the Pacers for a 2007 first-round pick.
Edwards will have no fantasy value this season with the Pacers very deep at center, but Harrington should be in the starting five for the Pacers this fall.

John Edwards missed tonight’s game for personal reasons.
    He is day-to-day.

Hawks sign center John Edwards to a contract.
He’ll be the third center for the Hawks.

Pacers activated center John Edwards from the injured list.
Edwards had been out since Jan. 15 with a strained right quad.
  • MIN Center
The Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday signed center John Edwards.
The little-used player out of Kent State and formerly of the Pacers and Hawks is just hoping to land a backup role for the Wolves this season. He averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebound in 65 career games, so he doesn’t offer fantasy value.
  • MIN Center
The Timberwolves waived center John Edwards on Thursday.
More cuts are coming, as their roster stands at 17 players. Letting Edwards go is just another sign that the Wolves are confident that Theo Ratliff will be around all season.
  • MIN Center
Free agent center John Edwards will reportedly sign a contract with the Timberwolves.
With Mark Madsen out due to shoulder surgery and the unsure status of Theo Ratliff, the Wolves will need some back up help for starting center Mark Blount.
  • Power Forward #5
Amir Johnson started on Wednesday in place of Joel Embiid (ankle), finishing with five points, four rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes.
The veteran has started nine games this season but his averages speak for themselves -- 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks. Those numbers aren’t useful outside of the very deepest fantasy leagues, and they get even worse when he’s coming off the bench behind Embiid.
  • MIN Center
John Edwards (back) returned to action tonight against the Cavs.
Edwards has missed the past three games with the injury, and hasn’t scored a point since Dec. 20. Needless to say, he has no fantasy value when healthy.
