Kareem Rush could be a Bobcat by the end of today.
GM Bernie Bickerstaff wouldn’t confirm, but the story is that the Lakers will send Rush to Charlotte for a swap of second-round picks. Rush would see an increase in minutes as part of Charlotte’s second-team guard unit, but not enough to give him value.

The Charlotte Bobcats release of Eddie House opens the door for them to trade for Lakers guard, Kareem Rush.
The Lakers have no use for Rush and the Bobcats have plenty of cap space to make it happen. They are talking about giving up draft picks for him and he would likely step into House’s role with the Cats if the deal happens, meaning somewhere around 10 points per game once he settles in.
