Kevin Love (back spasms) and Josh Richardson (illness) are questionable for Wednesday’s Heat-Lakers game.
Love missed Miami’s last game while Richardson is in danger of missing his seventh consecutive contest. Thomas Bryant can stay in the rotation if Love misses more time and Richardson hasn’t been much of a factor at all this season.

Kevin Love (back spasms) is available for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
Love is back in the lineup after back spasms forced a premature exit on Tuesday. He did not play against the Hornets on Wednesday, which led to rookie Kel’El Ware moving into the rotation. Ware’s minutes will decrease with Love available to play.

Kevin Love (back spasms) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
Love experienced back spasms during Tuesday’s loss to the Bucks and did not play in Wednesday’s win over Charlotte. Rookie Kel’El Ware played rotation minutes in Love’s absence, but he isn’t in a position where he can provide reliable fantasy value.
  • MIA Power Forward #42
Kevin Love (back spasms) will not return to Tuesday’s game against the Bucks.
Love’s minutes may go to Kel’el Ware, Nikola Jovic or Thomas Bryant, though none of them played in the first half of this game and likely won’t be asked to play much after the break.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #55
The Heat will start Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Duncan Robinson, Haywood Highsmith and Bam Adebayo against the 76ers on Monday.
Butler’s return pushes Kevin Love out of the starting unit, but his return lines up with Terry Rozier dealing with a foot issue. Robinson will replace him in the starting unit and should play big minutes with Jaime Jaquez Jr. also sidelined.
  • MIA Power Forward #42
Kevin Love made the most of his 12 minutes in Friday’s win over the Pacers, accumulating 15 points (6-of-8 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, four steals, and three 3-pointers.
Love had a good night in Indianapolis, finishing one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Unfortunately, the playing time makes him challenging to count on in fantasy leagues. Nikola Jovic played 30 minutes off the bench, finishing with 11 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one 3-pointer. Neither is worth the trouble in most leagues, but keep an eye on Love if he plays more minutes soon.
  • MIA Small Forward #5
Nikola Jovic (reduced septum) is available for Friday’s Heat-Jazz game.
Jovic won’t miss any time after suffering a nose injury against the Pistons. Whether the Heat forward will take on his usual workload remains to be seen and Kevin Love have been starting in his stead. Love likely won’t play a huge role with Jovic back in the mix, though.
  • MIA Power Forward #42
Kevin Love played 13 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Timberwolves, scoring six points (2-of-7 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs) with six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.
Love made his season debut in the city where he began his NBA career, and the workload was limited. While he did add value to the Heat in his 13 minutes on the court, he’s a player who’s more valuable to his team than fantasy managers. Leave Love on the waiver wire for now.
  • MIA Power Forward #42
The Heat are starting Terry Rozier, Tyler Herro, Kevin Love, Haywood Highsmith, and Ba Adebayo against the Timberwolves on Sunday.
Jimmy Butler is out with an ankle injury and Nikola Jovic has moved to the bench. Love will make his 2024-25 debut on the road against his former team in Minnesota and there’s no telling what kind of workload he’s ready for.
  • MIA Power Forward #42
Kevin Love (return to competition conditioning) is available for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Love will make his season debut on Sunday, with Thomas Bryant set to lose some playing time. Neither is worth rostering in fantasy leagues, especially with the starting center, Bam Adebayo, being healthy.
