Quinten Post (foot) and LJ Cryer (ankle) are out for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Post has been out since March 29, while Cryer injured his ankle during the Warriors’ April 9 loss to the Lakers. While their absences won’t affect active fantasy leagues, they do leave the Warriors down an option in the post and on the perimeter.
  • GSW Guard #18
LJ Cryer (illness) is available for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Cryer was initially probable for Thursday’s game, so the status upgrade was expected. With Stephen Curry and Gui Santos sidelined, the rookie guard should play rotation minutes. However, this is not enough to make Cryer a player worth trusting in active fantasy leagues.
  • GSW Guard #3
Will Richard (back) is out for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Richard was initially doubtful for Thursday’s game, so the status downgrade is unsurprising. More minutes will be available to LJ Cryer and Pat Spencer off the bench.
  • GSW Guard #18
LJ Cryer (illness) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Cryer is on track to be available for Thursday’s game. With Will Richard considered doubtful, Cryer may pick up rotation minutes from his fellow rookie against the Lakers.
  • De’Anthony Melton (thumb) is available for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Melton is back after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs. His return likely pushes LJ Cryer to the bench. However, the rookie guard may remain in the rotation since Seth Curry is out.
  • De’Anthony Melton (thumb) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Melton missed Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs with a left thumb strain and is on the injury report as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers. LJ Cryer started and had 17 points in 23 minutes in Melton’s absence Wednesday. It could play out similarly if Melton is ruled out again.
  • GSW Guard #18
LJ Cryer added 17 points (6-of-12 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), one rebound, three assists and two three-pointers in the loss to the Spurs on Wednesday.
Cryer tied a career-high in points on Wednesday in his 23 minutes on the floor. He struggled from the three-point line but finished efficiently inside the arc and at the free-throw line, which was key to his production. The rookie guard didn’t make much of an impact elsewhere. Still, he scored well and has now reached double figures in points in five of his last seven games.
  • GSW Guard #0
Gary Payton II (knee) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.
Wednesday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Warriors, so Payton’s sitting is unsurprising. His absence should free up additional minutes for Pat Spencer and LJ Cryer.
  • GSW Guard #4
Moses Moody (wrist) is available for Monday’s game against the Mavericks.
Moody is available for Monday night, the first game he has appeared in since March 2. Given the time missed, the Warriors’ guard could have his playing time limited for conditioning reasons. LJ Cryer or Nate Williams may fall out of the rotation entirely since Moody is available.
  • GSW Guard #0
Gary Payton II (knee) is off the injury report for Monday’s game against the Mavericks.
Payton is good to go after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Hawks. Multiple players experienced slight increases in playing time with GPII unavailable, including Will Richard and LJ Cryer. Look for them to take hits on Monday, but Richard should still get into the mid-to-high 20s in minutes.
