The Players Choice awards weren’t just for honoring current players.
The awards, put on by the National Basketball Players Association, also honored Allen Iverson with the “Game Changer Award.”
I’m not sure exactly what that is or how I feel about celebrating Iverson.
But there’s no denying Iverson had a huge impact on basketball culture and his speech was full of raw emotion.
