As roster spots on NBA teams dry up, more fringe players are taking guaranteed money overseas. Former Texas wing Jordan Hamilton, a 2011 first-round pick who played 14 games for the Clippers last season, has signed a deal with the Russian team Krasny Oktybr, according to Sportando:
Krasny Oktyabr announced the signing of Jordan Hamilton. The Texas product has played 140 games in the NBA with Nuggets, Rockets and Clippers averaging 5.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
Hamilton averaged 2.7 points and 1.1 rebounds per game last year with the Clippers, never really finding a consistent role in the NBA.
