I’ve previously mocked the idea of the Knicks starting anyone but Iman Shumpert, who seemed to have clearly earned the job last season and done nothing to lose it.

Start J.R. Smith. Start Tim Hardaway Jr. Start Chris Douglas-Roberts. Start Toure Murry. I don’t care.
Shumpert is really tempting fate with this haircut. His flattop was one of the NBA’s best dos, and the league is a worse place without it.
