Kevin Durant (ankle injury) game-time decision vs. Lakers

Oklahoma City Thunder v Golden State Warriors

Kevin Durant left the Thunder’s loss to the Warriors last night with a sprained ankle – a scary moment, especially considering the foot fracture that caused him to miss the start of the season.

Oklahoma City, 1.5 games behind the Pelicans for eighth in the West, is in pretty good playoff position. But another extended absence for Durant would obviously be a huge setback.

Thankfully, it doesn’t seem that serious.

Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports:

I’m not too concerned whether or not Durant plays tonight. A Russell Westbrook-led Thunder team should beat the Lakers. And if they don’t, it’s only one game.

But the fact that Durant is borderline to play tonight means a great deal to Oklahoma City. Players who are game-time decisions usually return soon, and there’s no reason to believe Durant is an exception.
