The Bobcats and the Cavaliers are two of the worst teams in the league statistically, with both clubs sitting just above the horrific Wizards in the East with eight wins apiece.

You wouldn’t know it necessarily by watching either of them play on a regular basis, because both teams compete hard for the most part, even though their record doesn’t show it.

They went at it head-to-head on Friday, but at the end, Kyrie Irving was the difference. His drive and step-back jumper with just a second remaining gave the Cavaliers their eighth victory of the season.

Irving finished with 33 points, five rebounds, six assists, and four steals. He dominated all night long, so it was only fitting he was the one to seal the victory on his team’s final meaningful possession.
