The Grizzlies have been hit as hard as anybody by injuries this season, especially lately. And especially at the point guard position. Mike Conley is out dealing with Achilles soreness, and they already had to waive Mario Chalmers after he suffered a season-ending Achilles tear. D-League call-up Briante Weber has been playing big minutes at point guard for Memphis, as has Lance Stephenson. With that in mind, The Vertical‘s Shams Charania reports that the Grizzlies are planning to sign veteran point guard Jordan Farmar:
Free agent Jordan Farmar will sign a deal with the Grizzlies, league sources tell The Vertical. Farmar worked out for Memphis this week.

Farmar played 36 games for the Clippers last season, averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 assists in 14.7 minutes per game before being waived in January 2015.
