Former Purdue star Robbie Hummel spent last season in Italy after playing two years with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2013-14 and 2014-15. Now, Hummel will get another shot to play in the NBA. GoldandBlack.com, a Purdue site, is reporting that he’s signed a two-year, partially guaranteed deal to go to training camp with the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets currently have 14 guaranteed contracts, so Hummel will be competing for the final roster spot with JaKarr Sampson, D.J. Kennedy and Axel Toupane.
