Kendrick Perkins has been suspended one game for “initiating and making head to head contact with Tyreke Evans,” the league announced on Saturday via official release.
The incident occurred with 4:17 remaining in the first quarter of the Thunder’s last-second loss to the Pelicans on Friday in Oklahoma City.

Perkins will sit out Sunday’s home contest against the Los Angeles Clippers.
