On Sunday night, the Warriors have the opportunity to tie the 1996 Bulls’ record with their 72nd win of the season. And San Antonio, after much speculation about who would play and who wouldn’t in an ultimately meaningless game, will be without at least one key player. Gregg Popovich told reporters before the game that he would rest Tim Duncan, with David West moving into the starting lineup.

Boris Diaw, who created huge matchup problems in the second Spurs-Warriors game of the year (the only one the Spurs have won) is also out. Warriors coach Steve Kerr, meanwhile, will have everybody available except Leandro Barbosa.
