    Bucks waived Nigel Hayes-Davis.
Unfortunately for Bucks fans who may have remembered Hayes-Davis from his time at Wisconsin, they won’t get to see him in a Bucks uniform. Acquired from the Suns on Thursday afternoon, he was waived on Thursday evening and will be an unrestricted free agent once he clears waivers. Having averaged 7.2 minutes per game in 27 appearances for the Suns, Hayes-Davis’ status does not affect fantasy basketball.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Bucks acquired Nigel Hayes-Davis and Nick Richards from the Suns in exchange for Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey.
Hayes-Davis heads back to the state of Wisconsin, where he was a star at the University of Wisconsin in college. The 31-year-old returned to the NBA this season after playing seven years abroad. He’s averaging just 7.2 minutes per game in 27 games for the Suns.
  • PHX Guard #50
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Suns have acquired Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey in exchange for Nick Richards and Nigel Hayes-Davis.
Anthony’s first season in Milwaukee was shaky, and they’ll move on from him quickly to acquired depth at center. Anthony will be a depth guard for Phoenix, but he hasn’t made much of a fantasy impact this year, and there is too much depth in the backcourt in Phoenix for that to change.
  • PHX Forward #21
Nigel Hayes-Davis (ankle) is available for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.
Hayes-Davis is available after spraining his right ankle recently. However, he isn’t usually a part of the Suns’ rotation, so his status does not affect fantasy basketball.
  • PHX Forward #21
Nigel Hayes-Davis (ankle) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.
Hayes-Davis is not a regular member of the Suns’ rotation. His potential absence does not affect fantasy basketball.
  • PHX Forward #0
Ryan Dunn (wrist) is probable to play against the Lakers on Monday.
Dunn has missed the Suns’ last five games, but he is expected to be back to take on Los Angeles. When Dunn last played, he had been filling in as a starter for Grayson Allen, but Allen has since returned. Dunn will likely play a large reserve role. Nigel Hayes-Davis will likely lose minutes with Dunn back.
  • PHX Guard-Forward #3
Dillon Brooks (groin) has been ruled out against the Jazz on Monday.
Brooks has officially been ruled out after initially being listed as questionable to play against Utah. Royce O’Neale should slide into the starting lineup, with Rasheer Fleming and Nigel Hayes-Davis taking on a few extra minutes off the bench.
  • PHX Power Forward #2
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Suns signed F Nigel Hayes-Davis to a one-year deal.
Hayes, who last played in the NBA during the 2017-18 season, is returning to the league after flourishing overseas. The former Wisconsin standout most recently played for Fenerbahce in Turkey, winning EuroLeague and Turkish Cup titles this past season. Hayes-Davis was also named the Most Valuable Player of both tournaments.

Nigel Hayes will play for the Clippers summer league entry in July.
Hayes played in Turkey with Galatasaray last season. He recently signed with Euroleague team Zalgiris, but his current contract has an NBA out clause.

Undrafted free agent Nigel Hayes has agreed to a training camp deal with the Knicks.
Hayes will now get the chance to impress the Knicks at summer league and during camp, but his deal is only partially guaranteed and he’s not a lock to make the roster. The 6'8" power forward out of Wisconsin has a 7'3" wingspan and has the tools to become a versatile defender. During his senior season, Hayes averaged 14.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 3-pointers.
