Dillon Brooks was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Suns during the second quarter.
Brooks got into an altercation with Kevin Durant, and both players were issued technical fouls with 4:48 remaining in the second quarter. However, Brooks would receive a second technical foul for arguing with an official, resulting in an early trip to the showers. He played 11 minutes, finishing with eight points, one rebound, one assist, one steal, one block and two three-pointers. Jabari Smith Jr. replaced Brooks in the lineup to begin the third quarter.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks shot 8-of-12 from the field in Sunday’s loss to the Nuggets, tallying 21 points, three rebounds, one assist and five three-pointers in 36 minutes.
For the second time in four games, Brooks has made five three-pointers. However, while he has averaged 2.8 three-pointers per game over the past two weeks, the Rockets guard has only provided 12th-round value in eight-cat formats. Brooks does not offer much value as a rebounder, and his defensive stats have also been limited. That makes him a difficult player to trust in most fantasy leagues, even on nights like Sunday.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks posted a full line on Monday and finished with 25 points (8-of-19 FGs), six rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and five three-pointers against the 76ers on Monday.
Prior to fouling out, Brooks was able to pour in the points. This was the second time during this winning streak that Brooks has scored at least 25 points in a game. He isn’t typically a strong option in category formats, but when he is able to score at this rate, he can make an impact. Still, managers can’t trust him to score like this consistently. This was a great performance for Brooks, but he should only be rostered in deeper formats.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks provided 27 points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal and seven triples across 25 minutes in Saturday’s blowout win over the Pelicans.
Brooks is knocking down 2.4 triples per game at a 38.7% clip this season, both career highs. The seven triples are his second-most of the campaign, and Brooks has hit at least five three-pointers in seven games in the 2024-25 campaign.
  • HOU Point Guard #1
Amen Thompson, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Jabari Smith Jr. and Alperen Sengun will start Tuesday’s game against the Pacers.
Thompson, Brooks and Sengun are back after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Thunder. Their returns mean that Reed Sheppard, Cam Whitmore and Jock Landale will head to the bench. None of those three are worth holding onto, with the Rockets close to full strength.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks (knee) is off the injury report ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Pacers.
Brooks missed Monday’s game against the Thunder with a knee injury, but he’s off the injury report and will be back Tuesday against the Pacers. Cam Whitmore and Jae’Sean Tate could see fewer minutes with Brooks back in the rotation.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks (knee) is out for Monday’s matchup with the Thunder, and Steven Adams (ankle) is available.
Brooks will join Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun and Fred VanVleet on the sideline, leaving Houston depleted across the roster. Jock Landale will start at center for Sengun, and Adams will be the first center off the bench. Reed Sheppard and Cam Whitmore will man backcourt duties for what could be a lopsided affair.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks (knee) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Thunder.
Brooks lands on the injury report with a right knee contusion, which he suffered during Saturday’s loss to the Kings. If he’s unable to play on Monday, Cam Whitmore or Jae’Sean Tate (who’s a superior defender to Whitmore) may enter the rotation. Neither would be worth streaming in most fantasy leagues.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks shot 7-of-13 from the field in Wednesday’s win over the Spurs, tallying 19 points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and five three-pointers in 29 minutes.
After shooting 1-of-6 from three in a February 22 loss to the Jazz, Brooks was 9-of-16 in wins over the Bucks and Spurs. The inconsistent offensive production is why he’s rostered in just 22 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Regarding fantasy value, the output over the past month (15th-round in eight-cat) has aligned with his season-long production. And that’s with Fred VanVleet and Jabari Smith Jr. missing extended periods due to injury. Brooks is more valuable to the Rockets than he is to fantasy managers.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks logged 34 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Bucks, accounting for 16 points (6-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers.
After failing to crack double figures in three straight games, Brooks’ four three-pointers are the most he’s made since February 12 (four vs. Phoenix). The Rockets wing has made at least four on 12 occasions, but the offensive production hasn’t been good enough to merit being rostered outside of deep leagues. Also, with Fred VanVleet getting close to a return from his ankle injury, they Rockets lineup will have a different look soon. We’ll see how Brooks is impacted by that, especially as Amen Thompson continues to shine (Tuesday’s ejection notwithstanding).
