Quinten Post (foot) is out for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Post hasn’t played since leaving Sunday’s game against the Nuggets with a foot injury. Omer Yurtseven had 17 points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench in Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs with Post sidelined. He could be in for a similar workload with Post still out.

Quinten Post (foot) has been ruled out against the Spurs on Wednesday.
Post exited early on Sunday and will remain out for the first leg of this back-to-back. Omer Yurtseven should take on extra minutes off the bench with Post sidelined.

Kristaps Porziņǵis (illness) has been ruled out against the Spurs on Wednesday.
Porziņǵis will sit out the first leg of this back-to-back, opening the starting center spot up. Draymond Green could slide over to fill the void, but Omer Yurtseven should take on extra minutes with Quinten Post (foot) out as well.

Warriors signed Ömer Yurtseven to a second 10-day contract.
Yurtseven made five appearances during his first 10-day with Golden State, averaging 3.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 11.2 minutes per game. He’ll remain a depth piece with Al Horford sidelined, but he won’t play enough to make a fantasy impact.

Quinten Post (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Post is good to go after a sprained left ankle forced his early exit from Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. Due to the Warriors’ many absences, he’ll be in the starting lineup, with Ömer Yurtseven set to serve as the backup center in his first appearance.

NBA Insider Marc Stein reports the Warriors are expected to sign Omer Yurtseven to a 10-day contract.
Yurtseven previously spent three seasons in the NBA, two with the Heat and one with the Jazz. The 27-year-old center played with Panathinaikos in Greece for two years before signing to play in the G League earlier this month. The signing of Yurtseven is a direct result of the Warriors current injury problems.

On Friday, Omer Yurtseven agreed to a deal with Panathinaikos, the Greek club announced.
Yurtseven spent last season with the Jazz, who waived him in late June. In 48 games, the 7-footer averaged 4.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 11.4 minutes for Utah. While he went through a free-agent workout with the Knicks in mid-August, the team did not move to sign Yurtseven. He will head to Greece for the next chapter in his professional career on a two-year deal (including an option for the second season).

According to Marc Stein, the Knicks recently hosted free agent center Omer Yurtseven for a workout.
Waived by the Jazz in late June, Yurtseven averaged 11.4 minutes per game last season and failed to offer much fantasy value. According to Stein, while the Knicks did go through the step of working out the 7-footer, they ultimately decided not to sign him. It’s increasingly likely that the Knicks will head into training camp with Mitchell Robinson, Precious Achiuwa, and Jericho Sims as their primary options at center. While boasting a significant injury history, Robinson can provide top-100 fantasy value when available.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Jazz will waive Omer Yurtseven.
Yurtseven logged just 11.4 minutes per game in his only season with Utah, though he was productive when given substantial playing time. In five games with at least 25 minutes played, the seven-footer averaged 11.4 points, 11.4 boards, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks. He grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds in Utah’s season finale.
  • UTA Center #77
Omer Yurtseven accounted for 11 points, 18 rebounds and two assists across 30 minutes in Sunday’s loss to Golden State.
Yurtseven averaged just over four points, four boards and 11 minutes per contest this season for Utah, though a number of key frontcourt injuries opened up a starting gig for him over final two weeks of the campaign. Yurtseven started Utah’s last six games and averaged 10.9 points and 9.7 rebounds, delivering his best performance of the season in the finale. Yurtseven pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds to end the season on a high note, and he was one of Utah’s lone bright spots in the loss. He should continue to operate as a backup big no matter where he plays in 2024-25.
