Isaiah Collier (illness) has been ruled out for Monday’s matchup with the Warriors.
Keyonte George is also dealing with an illness, and he’s listed as questionable. Utah’s backcourt is sorely undermanned, and EJ Harkless could be the next man up to absorb Collier’s vacated minutes. Cody Williams and Svi Mykhailiuk could also see additional run.
  • UTA Guard #3
Keyonte George (illness) and Isaiah Collier (illness) are questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Warriors.
Both guards are late additions to Monday’s injury report, and fantasy managers should have a contingency plan in case George and Collier are sidelined. If the pair of elite playmakers sit out against Golden State, EJ Harkless could start at point guard, while Svi Mykhailiuk could see additional run behind Cody Williams.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (illness) is now doubtful for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Initially questionable for Friday’s game, Markkanen is now on track not to play. If he sits, there should be more minutes available to Kyle Filipowski and Svi Mykhailiuk, with the former offering higher fantasy upside.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (illness) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Grizzlies.
Markkanen is a late addition to the injury report, which doesn’t bode well for his availability against Memphis. With the star forward potentially on the shelf, fantasy managers can stream Kyle Filipowski in a favorable matchup. Svi Mykhailiuk could see a bump in playing time, too.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (rest) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Markkanen did not play in Friday’s loss to the Nets, with Cody Williams filling the void after not playing against the Warriors two nights prior. If Jusuf Nurkić (illness) can play, Svi Mykhailiuk and Kyle Filipowski will likely head to the bench, with Williams remaining in the starting lineup.
  • UTA Forward #5
Cody Williams (illness) will play against the Nets on Friday.
Williams missed Wednesday’s game against Golden State, which allowed Svi Mykhailiuk to slide into the starting lineup in his place. With Williams back, Mykhailiuk should return to playing a role off the bench, which will eliminate the little streaming value he held.
  • UTA Forward #5
Cody Williams (illness) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Nets.
Williams did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Warriors, which resulted in Svi Mykhailiuk moving into the starting lineup. Svi may remain in the starting five if Williams can’t play, but he isn’t worth the risk in fantasy leagues, especially after logging 16 minutes on Wednesday.
  • UTA Center #30
Keyonte George, Svi Mykhailiuk, Ace Bailey, Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkić will start Wednesday’s game against the Warriors.
George and Nurkić are back after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Clippers, stepping in for Isaiah Collier and Kevin Love. While Love (rest) is out, Collier will come off the bench. The other change to the lineup is Mykhailiuk, who steps in for Cody Williams (illness).
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (conditioning) is available for Tuesday’s matchup with the Clippers.
Markkanen will unsurprisingly return to the court on Tuesday, which will limit the upside of Brice Sensabaugh and likely eliminate all of Svi Mykhailiuk’s streaming appeal.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (conditioning) practiced on Monday and is expected to play in Tuesday’s game against the Clippers.
Markkanen has missed seven straight and eight of Utah’s last nine games due to illness and to get his conditioning up to par. His return will likely push Svi Mykhailiuk out of the starting lineup and possibly out of the rotation entirely. Svi should not be rostered in most redraft leagues.
