John Konchar (knee) and Santi Aldama (calf) are questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Mavericks.
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) remains out, so Aldama should see increased run if he’s available. If he’s sidelined, Vince Williams Jr. could draw another start. Konchar’s availability has little impact on fantasy hoops decisions.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #5
Vince Williams Jr. tallied 12 points (5-of-12 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in 25 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Thunder.
With Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) and Santi Aldama (calf) unavailable, Williams was tabbed to make his first start of the season on Wednesday. He didn’t have the best night, but the Grizzlies wing scored in double figures for the third time this season. Williams’ streaming staying power depends on the health of Jackson and Aldama, with the former considered week-to-week and the latter day-to-day. Wednesday’s performance wasn’t good enough to make Williams a must-add, but deep-league managers should watch for the injury report ahead of Friday’s game against the Mavericks.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #5
Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Jaylen Wells, Vince Williams Jr. and Zach Edey will start Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
Morant returns to action after missing two games with a shoulder injury, which pushes Luke Kennard to the bench. The other notable change is Williams, who steps into the void left by the injured Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle). While a risky streaming option, Vince is worth a look in deep leagues.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #5
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) and Brandon Clarke (mouth) are available for Monday’s game against the Hawks.
Williams and Clarke are back after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Spurs. The returns give Memphis a welcome infusion of depth off the bench, even if neither player significantly impacts fantasy basketball.
  • MEM Power Forward #15
Brandon Clarke (mouth) and Vince Williams Jr. (knee) are out for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Clarke and Williams have been downgraded from questionable to out, leaving the Grizzlies without two of their many options off the bench. John Konchar, Jay Huff or Marvin Bagley III may enter the rotation, but none will likely get the minutes needed to provide reliable streaming value. However, that would change if Ja Morant or Desmond Bane were also ruled out.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #22
Desmond Bane (groin) is available for Friday’s game against the Knicks.
Initially questionable for Friday’s game, Bane is officially available. He’ll take on his usual role within the Grizzlies’ starting lineup, meaning there won’t be an increase in playing time for Luke Kennard or Vince Williams Jr.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #22
Desmond Bane (groin) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Knicks.
Bane led Memphis in minutes (43) on Tuesday, but he’s in danger of sitting out Friday against New York. If Bane is sidelined, Vince Williams Jr. and Luke Kennard could see more playing time.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #5
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Williams did not play in Friday’s win over the Magic, the Grizzlies’ second game in as many nights. He’ll provide additional wing depth off the bench, likely taking minutes away from Luke Kennard and GG Jackson. Kennard has offered the highest fantasy upside, as he’s worth streaming on nights when the Grizzlies are without Ja Morant.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #5
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) has been ruled out against the Magic on Friday.
Williams Jr. played 20 minutes on Thursday night, but he will sit the second leg of the Grizzlies’ back-to-back, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. Williams Jr.'s season has been decimated by injuries, which has limited him to just seven games played so far. GG Jackson and Luke Kennard will play larger roles with Williams Jr. sidelined.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #5
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Magic.
Williams missed the Grizzlies last game before the All-Star break but returned Thursday against the Pacers and played 20 minutes. He’s now questionable Friday on the second leg of a back-to-back and it wouldn’t be surprising if he were ruled out. GG Jackson would see additional minutes off the bench if Williams is out.
