Vladislav Goldin tallied 18 points (7-of-10 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds and four blocked shots in Friday’s win over the Bucks.
Goldin’s layup with 11 seconds remaining gave the Heat a one-point victory, capping a solid finish to his first summer league experience. The 7-footer out of Michigan was signed by the Heat to a two-way contract almost immediately after June’s draft concluded, and he was solid after moving into the starting lineup once Kel’el Ware was shut down. Goldin will likely spend most of his time with the Heat’s G League affiliate next season, making him a non-factor in fantasy leagues.
  • Vladislav Goldin finished with 10 points (4-of-5 FGs), five rebounds, two assists and one steal against the Warriors on Tuesday.
Goldin got the starting nod in place of Kel’el Ware, who didn’t play in Tuesday’s game. Goldin only played 20 minutes, but he was able to have a decent night. The undrafted big out of Michigan will likely spend most of next season in the G League after joining the Heat on a two-way contract.
  • ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Vladislav Goldin has agreed to a two-way contract with the Heat.
Goldin enjoyed a storied collegiate run, first appearing for Texas Tech and then joining FAU where he was part of the team’s Cinderella run to the 2023 Final Four. Rather than going to the NBA, Goldin returned to college last season where he played for Michigan. The 7’0, 253 pound center averaged 16.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.4 blocks while shooting 61/33/73 splits. His size gives him upside as an interior scorer and rebounder, but he can be even better on offense if he can further develop his three-point shot. He likely won’t crack the rotation with both Bam Adebayo and Kel’el Ware ahead of him.
