Dolphins signed TE Aaron Halterman from their practice squad.
This is a clear sign Miami is bracing to be without David Martin (groin) against the Giants. Halterman will likely back up Justin Peelle in London.
  • FA Tight End
David Martin is the Dolphins’ unquestioned starter at tight end.
And he’s one of the top values as a late-round TE2 in fantasy leagues. Aaron Halterman, Courtney Anderson, and Justin Peelle are vying for backup duty.
  • Dolphins TE Courtney Anderson hauled in a 28-yard TD on Saturday night.
Justin Peelle had one catch for 11 yards and Aaron Halterman had no catches. Anderson has five grabs for 69 yards in three preseason games while trying to make the Dolphin’s roster.
  • MIA Tight End
Dolphins signed TE Aaron Halterman, G Marquay Love, safety Tuff Harris and OT Julius Wilson to their practice squad.
British wide receiver Marvin Allen, the team’s International Practice Squad Player, will be also on the practice squad, but not count towards the eight-man limit.
  • MIA Tight End
Dolphins waived/injured TE Aaron Halterman (back) and waived OL Rueben Riley.
Riley only lasted a few days. Halterman was a Cam Cameron holdover.
  • MIA Tight End
Dolphins signed tight end Aaron Halterman and released defensive backs Jack Hunt and Norman LeJeune, and wide receiver Chris Davis.
Halterman was briefly on the team’s practice squad in October before signing in San Diego, where current Dolphins coach Cam Cameron was at the time. Hunt, LeJeune, and Davis are also practice-squad types.
