Eagles C Cam Jurgens (knee) won’t play in Philadelphia’s Week 8 game against the Giants.
Neither will Adoree Jackson (concussion) and Azeez Ojulari (hamstring), three of the four injuries the Eagles announced that they suffered against the Vikings in Week 8. (A.J. Brown never was given a status in that game.) LB Jeremiah Trotter (ankle) got in a full practice on Friday and isn’t on the final injury report for the Eagles.
  • PHI Linebacker #54
Eagles LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Trotter left the Eagles’ Week 7 game against the Vikings with the injury. EDGE Azeez Ojulari (hamstring), C Cam Jurgens (knee), and CB Adoree’ Jackson (concussion) also all left in Week 7 and did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. The Eagles defense and offensive line turn to depth options with all four players question marks for Week 8 against the Giants.
  • PHI Cornerback #8
Eagles CB Adoree Jackson (concussion) left Week 7’s game against the Eagles and will not return.
He laid on the field for a few minutes motionless and was instantly ruled out even after seeming to come off the turf fine. It was a scary-looking injury, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Jackson missed multiple weeks. Kelee Ringo will likely take over at outside cornerback.
  • PHI Cornerback #8
Eagles declared CB Adoree’ Jackson, OLB Azeez Ojulari, QB Sam Howell, C/G Drew Kendall, and WR Xavier Gipson inactive for Week 4 against the Bucs.
The Eagles defense will be without Jackson against Baker Mayfield and a Bucs offense that will get back Chris Godwin (but will be missing Mike Evans). Philly’s defense comes into Week 4 relatively beat up and vulnerable to efficient offenses like the Bucs. This game could shape up as a back-and-forth affair.
  • PHI Running Back #28
Eagles RB Will Shipley (oblique) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 4 against the Buccaneers.
Shipley should resume No. 2 running back duties and can be stashed as a high-upside player in re-draft formats. Stud RT Lane Johnson (stinger) practiced in full on Thursday and Friday. The Eagles lost star OLB Nolan Smith (triceps) to injured reserve earlier this week. He will be eligible to return after missing four games. They got good news on LB Zack Baun (knee), LB Jihaad Campbell (triceps) and backup QB Tanner McKee (right thumb), though. All three are good to go. Unfortunately, CB Adoree’ Jackson (groin) is doubtful.
  • PHI Linebacker #53
Eagles LB Zack Baun (knee) resumed practicing on Thursday.
Baun, LB Jihaad Campbell (triceps) and Adoree’ Jackson (groin) all took the day off on Wednesday, which was slightly alarming given the Eagles’ other defensive injuries. Eagles OLB Nolan Smith (triceps) and CB Jakorian Bennett were placed on injured reserve yesterday. Baun, Campbell and Jackson should all be good to go for Week 4, barring setbacks.
  • PHI Linebacker #53
Eagles LB Zack Baun (knee) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Baun missed Wednesday with a knee issue, his first instance of an injury in 2025. Also out on Wednesday were LB Jihaad Campbell (triceps) and Adoree’ Jackson (groin). The Eagles’ front seven has been driven by Baun and Campbell’s contributions and absences in Week 4 would leave the middle of the field open for the Buccaneers. If Jackson misses time, Kelee Ringo is next in line for opportunities.
  • PHI Cornerback #21
Eagles signed CB Adoree’ Jackson, formerly of the Giants, to a one-year contract.
Jackson remains a capable coverage defender at age 29. He should be expected to compete for the No. 2 perimeter cornerback role opposite Quinyon Mitchell. Jackson recorded five pass breakups and 24 tackles in 2024, en route to a 64.5 PFF coverage grade.
  • NYG Cornerback #21
Giants declared P Jamie Gillan, CB Adoree’ Jackson, CB Cor’Dale Flott, LB Ty Summers, OG Jake Kubas, DL Jordon Riley, and QB Tommy DeVito inactive for Week 8 against the Steelers.
DeVito will serve as the emergency quarterback behind starter Daniel Jones and backup Drew Lock. Jones was benched by the team in the fourth quarter of their Week 7 blowout loss to the Eagles, now having scored just one offensive touchdown at home through four home games. Expect 2023 sixth-round draft pick Tre Hawkins to see increased snaps in the secondary with both Jackson and Flott out of action.
  • NYG Cornerback #21
Giants downgraded CB Adoree’ Jackson (calf) to out for Week 8 against the Steelers.
Jackson came into the weekend listed as questionable after missing Week 6 with a calf injury sustained the week prior. Jackson has served as the fifth cornerback in snaps played this season for the Giants, making his absence more of a depth issue than a pressing loss.
