Kansas State redshirt senior DB AJ Parker will enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
An honorable mention all-Big 12 selection in 2019, Parker (5'11/178) appeared in nine games for the Wildcats this season. In those appearances, the redshirt senior tallied 39 tackles (31 solo, 3.5 for loss), one interception, four pass breakups and one blocked kick. Parker may have to shift inside to nickel at the NFL level, and he’s expected to be a Day 3 selection in next spring’s draft. Pro Football Network draft analyst Tony Pauline has given him a seventh-round grade.

  • Cornerback
Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline believes that Kansas State redshirt sophomore CB AJ Parker has “next level” potential.
As Pauline notes, the Wildcats have produced several cornerbacks to the NFL, and Parker has a chance to be next. “Parker is a good athlete with solid ball skills and someone who displayed a lot of ability at times in 2017,” he writes. At 5-foot-11, 178-pounds, Parker may not be big enough to play on the outside in the NFL, but the skill set could play well as a nickel; a position that gets more and more valuable every year.
