Bengals signed C Alex Stepanovich to a one-year contract.

A fourth-round pick in 2004, Stepanovich began his career as a starter but lost the job to Nick Leckey in 2006 and wasn’t tendered by Arizona as a restricted free agent. He’ll battle Ben Wilkerson to back up Eric Ghiaciuc.
