Bears signed Houston Baptist LB Caleb Johnson.
Johnson (6'2, 220 pounds) becomes the first player in the program’s history to make it to the NFL. In 2019, Johnson started ten games for Houston Baptist, ranking second in the Southland Conference and tenth nationally with 10.4 tackles per game. He ranked tenth in the league in sacks, had 14 in tackles for loss, and ranked fifth in fumble recoveries per game.
