Bears agreed to terms with DB Cam Lewis, formerly of the Bills, on a two-year contract.
Lewis joins Coby Bryant and Devin Bush as newcomers to the defense in Chicago, although he appears unlikely to start in the secondary. The entirety of his six-year career was spent as a member of the Bills prior to his new contract, starting 14 games across 76 appearances. The financials of the contract were not yet made available.
  • BUF Cornerback #7
Bills CB Taron Johnson (groin) is questionable for Buffalo’s Week 11 game against Tampa Bay.
He downgraded to a limited session on Friday after going full on Thursday. Buffalo used Cam Lewis as their slot replacement against the Dolphins in Week 10, but Lewis (calf) is also questionable. Tampa should be able to get some explosives by isolating their best on Buffalo’s slot corners. Johnson hasn’t played since Week 8.
  • CHI Defensive Back
Buffalo junior CB Cameron Lewis “possesses average size but makes a lot of solid plays on the football,” writes Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline.
“He could develop into a dime back on Sundays if he continues to improve,” Pauline wrote. Lewis (5'9/185) had 60 total tackles, 2.5 TFL and seven breakups last year.
