    Cowboys waived G Nick Broeker.
Broeker was active for the Texans in three games in 2023 and nine games in 2024, bouncing between the Steelers and Cowboys this offseason. He’ll be a candidate for a practice-squad spot as teams look to shore up their offensive lines. The Cowboys also let go of: DT Denzel Daxon, WR Josh Kelly, TE Tyler Neville , CB Troy Pride, TE John Stephens Jr. and CB Christian Matthew.
  • ARI Tight End #85
Cardinals signed second-round TE Trey McBride to a four-year contract.
The team also announced the signings of CB Christian Matthew and OL Marquis Hayes. McBride’s deal should be worth roughly $6.3 million. He was initially expected to play a minor role early in his rookie season based on having Zach Ertz ahead of him on the depth chart. However, the temporary loss of DeAndre Hopkins may force Arizona to roll out more packages with multiple tight ends to open the year. If that is the case, McBride could be a viable streaming option.

  • FA Cornerback #37
Cardinals selected Valdosta State CB Christian Matthew with the No. 244 overall pick in the 2022 Draft.
A Samford and Georgia Southern transfer, Matthew ended up at Valdosta State as a graduate transfer. Not invited to the Combine or on any of the main draft analysts’ radars, Matthew was listed by his school as 6-foot-4, 200 pounds. Those are not reliable numbers. Truly ancient for a first-year pro, Matthew is turning 26 in October. Frankly, that is the extent of our knowledge on a player who spent 2021 playing players five years his junior.
