Jaguars agreed to terms with OT Chuma Edoga, formerly of the Cowboys, on a two-year, $7 million contract.
Edoga has started 23 of the 48 games he’s appeared in during his career, with his most starts (8) coming in his rookie season. He’s spent the last two years serving as a backup for the Cowboys, but did start four games for them last season. He allowed two sacks and seven pressures in 2024 while playing primarily at left tackle. This looks like a swing tackle signing to us.

Tyler Guyton is questionable to return in Week 13 against the Giants with an ankle and knee injury.
Guyton was rolled up on early in the contest and looked to be in a good amount of pain. The first-round pick will hope to return later in the contest, but he’s been replaced for now by Chuma Edoga.

ESPN’s Todd Archer reports the Cowboys have signed T Chuma Edoga, formerly of the Falcons, to a one-year, $1.23 million contract.
The Cowboys are looking to beef up their offensive line. This could be looked at as a depth signing for now as Edoga only played in two games during the 2022 season with the Falcons. The Cowboys expressed interest in trading for him last season due to his versatility and Tyron Smith’s injury, now they’ve got him.

Falcons OT Chuma Edoga (knee) is inactive for Week 13 against the Steelers.
Edoga, who hasn’t played since starting Week 11, will miss another game after a setback in practice this week. Also inactive for Atlanta are S Jovante Moffatt, CB Rashad Fenton, OLB Arnold Ebiketie, ILB Nate Landman.

Falcons claimed RT Chuma Edoga off waivers from the Jets.
The Jets selected Edoga in the third round of the 2019 draft, and he started 12 games for the club in three seasons. He was waived after Max Mitchell passed him on the depth chart as the Jets’ swing tackle. In Atlanta, Edoga has a legitimate shot to compete at right tackle, which says plenty about the state of the Falcons line. Edoga will play out the final season of his rookie deal with the Falcons. Atlanta also claimed former Chiefs DT Matt Dickerson.

    Jets waived OT Chuma Edoga.
The Jets had held out hope for a trade but nothing materialized, and Edoga is out. He was heading into the final year of his rookie deal after being taken 92nd overall out of USC in 2019. Edoga lost out on swing-tackle duties to rookie Max Mitchell behind starters LT Duane Brown and RT George Fant. Edoga started 12 games for the Jets.

Jets RT George Fant (knee, ankle) is doubtful for Week 12 against the Dolphins.
Doubtful means out in the NFL almost every time, and to make matters worse, Sam Darnold will be without backup RT Chuma Edoga, who was also listed as doubtful. It’s a concerning development for Darnold’s return, especially given the coaching mismatch in this game. Darnold at least has his starting three-receiver set for the first time of 2020.

Jets placed RT Chuma Edoga on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.
Edoga had been sidelined since Week 12. He had been dealing with a sprained MCL. The No. 92 overall pick provided much-needed snaps, but they were sub-replacement level. It was a brutal year for Edoga along the Jets’ brutal line. Hopefully he can put the experience to good use in 2020. Edoga turns 23 in May.

NY Daily News’ Manish Mehta reports Jets RT Chuma Edoga (knee) is “week to week.”
Edoga reportedly has a Grade 2 MCL sprain and is expected to miss “some time.” The 22-year-old has started eight games for the Jets this season despite fighting through knee and ankle injuries throughout the year. Third-rounder Brandon Shell, who was the team’s Week 1 starter at right tackle, will replace Edoga in the interim.
