    Bills released WR Quintez Cephus.

Cephus’ release comes on the heels of the Bills signing safety Dee Delaney. Cephus was signed by the Bills shortly after being reinstated from a year-long suspension for violating the league’s gambling policy but clearly didn’t impress enough to remain with the team ahead of training camp. Cephus has caught 37 passes for 568 yards and four touchdowns in his three-year career and could earn another opportunity elsewhere ahead of training camp.
  • Cornerback

Dolphins claimed CB Dee Delaney off waivers from the Jaguars.

Delaney hasn’t recorded a stat in 2018 yet, despite playing two games with the Jaguars. The 2018 UDFA is an athletic, developmental player after starting only six games in his senior season at the University of Miami.
  • Cornerback

Jaguars signed Miami CB Dee Delaney.

Delaney (6’0/200) spent just one season at The U after transferring from The Citadel, where he was a D-IAA All-American with 12 interceptions in his first three years. Delaney’s lone Hurricanes season didn’t go as planned, missing three games with a knee injury and starting 6-of-10 appearances. Delaney helped himself at the Combine with a 4.46 forty and 6.95 three-cone time. Big and athletic with ball skills, Delaney is a worthwhile developmental prospect with a chance to contribute at cornerback or safety.
