Ravens placed CB Domonique Foxworth on injured reserve with a torn ACL, ending his season.
They replaced him with undrafted OT Devin Tyler. Foxworth was hands-down Baltimore’s top corner last season, racking up four picks and 16 pass breakups to go with reliable coverage. His loss is another crushing blow to a secondary that didn’t come close to deserving the fifth overall ranking Yahoo Sports head-scratchingly gave it prior to camp. Foxworth, 28 next season, should return in 2011 at his $4.4M salary, though it could be at a different position. Ed Reed’s future is in doubt, and Foxworth can play free safety.
