Vikings signed LB Eric Wilson, formerly of the Packers.
Wilson started 12 games for the Packers last season and is now set to return to the Vikings, with whom he spent the first four years of his career. An eight-year vet of the league, Wilson has primarily served as a backup and special teams player, starting in just 39 of the 125 games he’s appeared in during his career. But for Green Bay last year, he had the second-most defensive snaps (556) of his career, and his 65.8 defensive grade per PFF was one of the highest marks of his career. It’s unlikely Wilson will be tabbed as a starter in 2025, but he has the experience to step in at a moment’s notice for the Vikings and perform at a serviceable level.

    Packers re-signed LB Eric Wilson.
Wilson is a core special teamer who contributed 123 competent snaps as a reserve linebacker in 2023. 2024 will be his age-30 campaign.

    Packers re-signed LB Eric Wilson.
Wilson joined the club after he was signed from the Saints’ practice squad midway through the 2022 season. The six-year veteran hasn’t started meaningful games since the 2020 season with the Vikings but should play an integral depth role for the Packers’ 3-4 defensive scheme. His primary contribution should come on special teams, where he has emerged as a core piece for Green Bay.

    Packers signed LB Eric Wilson.
Wilson was on the Saints practice squad. The 28-year-old spent seven games with both Houston and Philadelphia last season and has extensive special teams experience.

Eagles signed LB Eric Wilson, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year contract.
It’s worth up to $3.25 million. This is a high-quality signing at this stage of the offseason. Wilson, 26, was an every-down linebacker as a 15-game starter last season in Minnesota and turned in 122 tackles and three sacks on 96% of the snaps. Wilson provides a much-needed jolt to the Eagles’ linebacker corps, one of their weakest units. Wilson has a history with new DC Jonathan Gannon.

Vikings extended a second-round tender to restricted free agent LB Eric Wilson.
He’ll make roughly $3.1 million in 2020. A true chess piece off the bench for the Vikings, 25-year-old Wilson recorded a career-high 62 tackles and three sacks over 379 snaps last year, including two postseason starts in the Wild Card and Divisional Rounds smack in the middle of Minnesota’s front-seven. He’ll look to carve out a role as a starter from day one in 2020.
