Bills re-signed exclusive rights free agent DB Cary Harris, TE Jonathan Stupar, LB Jon Corto, and WR Felton Huggins to one-year contracts.

All four are slated for minimum salaries, and will be on the roster bubble in training camp. Harris, a free safety/cornerback, was a sixth-round pick in 2009. Stupar had a standout preseason last year, but didn’t make the team.

Bills signed WRs Mike Jefferson, Felton Huggins, and C.J. Hawthorne, DL Marcus Smith, T Chris Denman, LB Vince Hall, and OL Brandon Rodd to futures deals.

Buffalo needs the three wideouts because James Hardy will be rehabbing from ACL surgery this offseason. The other guys are long shots for 2009.

Bills extended exclusive rights free agent tenders to WR Felton Huggins and LS Garrison Sanborn.

Huggins spent the 2010 season on injured reserve after spending 2008-2009 on the practice squad. He played the 2007 NFL Europa season with the Frankfurt Galaxy. Sanborn has been the Bills’ long snapper the past two seasons.

Huggins has tumbled down the depth chart with Donald Jones (concussion) and Roscoe Parrish (hamstring) returning to practice. One of the few remaining players from NFL Europa, Huggins won’t make the final roster.

Huggins’ injury was the only one disclosed, and he never had a realistic chance to make the club. Kirlew is a former sixth-round pick out of Indiana. Corto was a safety-slash-linebacker, but mostly just a special teamer.
