Other notable marks were a 36" vertical jump, 128" broad jump and 25 bench reps, as the Beavers edge rusher helped his NFL Draft resume’ considerably. In 2020, he accounted for 23 total tackles (15 solo, 2.0 for loss) one forced fumble, one pass defensed and one blocked kick. Oregon State redshirt senior EDGE Hamilcar Rashed Jr. announced on Tuesday that he will enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
This comes as no surprise, as Rashed (6'4/245) accepted an invitation to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl nearly three weeks ago. The redshirt senior edge rusher, who was used as both a defensive end and a stand-up linebacker during his time in Corvallis, was one of the Pac-12’s best defenders in each of the last two seasons. In 2020, Rashed accounted for 23 total tackles (15 solo, 2.0 for loss) one forced fumble, one pass defensed and one blocked kick. He was lights out in 2019, racking up 22.5 tackles for loss and 14.0 sacks. Rashed projects to be a Day 2 selection this spring.

Oregon State redshirt senior LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. produced grades of 70.0 or higher as a run-defender, pass-rusher and in coverage last season according to Pro Football Focus’ Anthony Treash.
Rashed (6'4/236) was a force on the edge for the Beavers last season, earning second team all-conference honors. But there’s room for improvement, as Treash noted in his analysis of the senior outside linebacker. “His pressure rate and win rate on a rep-to-rep basis weren’t nearly as impressive as his sack total, but he did earn a pass-rush grade that surpassed the 80th percentile at his position,” Treash wrote. Rashed projects to be one of the top outside linebacker/edge rushers in college football this season.

Oregon State redshirt junior LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. is playing Saturday’s game at Washington State with a bulky cast on his left hand/wrist.
Rashed (6'4/236) is one of the most disruptive outside linebackers in college football, so having him on the field is a huge deal for the Beavers. The redshirt junior has accounted for 22.5 tackles for loss and 14 sacks this season, and he could potentially be a top-100 prospect in this spring’s NFL Draft according to Pro Football Network draft analyst Tony Pauline.

Oregon State redshirt junior LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. was selected as a player who has improved his draft stock by Pro Football Network draft analyst Tony Pauline.
Rashed (6'4/236) had one of his better games of the season Saturday, as he tallied seven total tackles (4.0 for loss) and two sacks in the Beavers’ win over Arizona State. The redshirt junior is up to 60 total tackles (22.5 for loss) and 14 sacks, and the production has not gone unnoticed. “His sacks are as much a result of opportunity as they are big plays, but Rashed continues to impact games,” Pauline wrote. “He needs to fill out his frame and keep his quickness, but Rashed has top 100 potential when he enters the draft.” He’ll look to add to his impressive statistics on Saturday when the Beavers visit Washington State.
