Rams tendered OL Justin Dedich, K Harrison Mevis, WR Xavier Smith.
The team will maintain control of three players that surprised in 2025, including “thiccer kicker” Harrison Mevis. The tendering of exclusive rights free agents ties the three to the franchise through the 2026 season considering they are unable to negotiate with other teams. At least for now, it appears as if the Rams will continue forward with Mevis as their place kicker.

Harrison Mevis made his only field-goal attempt in Los Angeles’ NFC Championship loss to the Seahawks.
Mevis finishes the year 12-of-13 on field goals — missing one against the Seahawks in Week 16 — and hit all 39 of his regular season extra point attempts. He was perfect in the playoffs on five field goals and nine extra-point attempts. The 23-year-old was a find for the Rams and should enter the starting kicker conversation in most fantasy leagues that use kickers in 2026.

Harrison Mevis made 2-of-2 field goals in the Rams’ Week 15 win over the Lions.
He hasn’t missed yet, going 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts and 27-of-27 on extra points. The Rams talked a big game about Joshua Karty eventually getting the job back when they waived him, but Mevis is not giving the former incumbent an inch of space to get active. The Thiccer Kicker will remain a low-end K1 against the Seahawks in Week 16.

Harrison Mevis converted his lone field goal attempt and all six of his extra point attempts in the Rams’ Week 14 win against the Cardinals.
Mevis has proven a fine weekly fantasy play thanks to the high-powered Rams offense and the positive game script it creates. He’s made all three of his field goals this season and has yet to miss an extra point. He should be in fantasy lineups next week against the Lions in what should be a high-scoring affair. The Lions have allowed 1.7 field goal tries per game this season.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Harrison Mevis will again be the team’s kicker in Week 11 against Seattle.
Mevis, the “Thiccer Kicker,” did not attempt a field goal against the 49ers, settling for six made extra points. Seattle will probably force some more attempts this week against the Rams.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Harrison Mevis will kick for the Rams in Week 10 against the 49ers.
He also said Joshua Karty’s roster spot is “not going anywhere” for whatever that’s worth. It sounds like Karty will be a healthy scratch for Week 10 while they try to work with him to get his confidence back. Mevis is worth a pickup in fantasy leagues with the Rams expected to pile up points on San Francisco’s banged-up defense.
  • LA Kicker #45
Rams signed K Harrison Mevis, formerly of the Jets, to their practice squad.
The former Birmingham Stallions kicker will provide some competition for Joshua Karty. Karty has struggled mightily this year, connecting on just 10-of-15 field goals and 23-of-26 PATs. Two of his field goal misses came on Sunday against the Saints. Mevis could take the job from Karty as soon as Week 10 against the 49ers.

    Jets waived K Anders Carlson.
New York parted ways with Carlson and signed K Harrison Mevis as they look for a starter headed into training camp. Carlson, who signed with the team last November and continued to struggle. He made eight of ten field goal tries and nine of 11 extra points over five games with the Jets in 2024. Carlson, who lost his starting job in Green Bay before coming to New York, will likely catch on with another team this summer.
