Colts signed EDGE Ifeadi Odenigbo, formerly of the Browns.
Odenigbo appeared in 11 games for the Browns last year, playing a mix of defensive end and special teams. He recorded 13 combined tackles and three QB hits. Odenigbo was a 15-game starter for the Vikings in 2020. His experience should earn him a spot on the Colts’ final roster, though Odenigbo only projects as a rotational player.

Browns signed DE Ifeadi Odenigbo to the practice squad.
Odenigbo, a 15 game starter for the Vikings last year, will settle for a practice squad deal after getting released from the Giants at final cuts. The 27-year-old has 10 sacks over the past two seasons and is likely to be promoted to the active roster.

    Giants released DE Ifeadi Odenigbo.
It’s surprising after the G-Men guaranteed Odenigbo $1 million in free agency. The author of 10.5 sacks over the past two seasons for the Vikings, Odenigbo will certainly get another look on the open market. He should make regular season appearances for someone in 2021.

Giants signed DE Ifeadi Odenigbo, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year contract.
Odenigbo, 27 next month, is coming off his first season as a starter after replacing Everson Griffen in Minnesota. He was able to muster just 3.5 sacks opposite Danielle Hunter, and the Vikings decided to let Odenigbo hit the market rather than tendering him as an RFA at $2.133 million. Odenigbo will be a rotational piece for the Giants.

The Vikings will not tender restricted free agent DE Ifeadi Odenigbo, making him a free agent.
Odenigbo notched seven sacks in 2019, but he could manage only 3.5 as a 2020 starter (who played a modest 403 snaps on defense). It’s still surprising the Vikings didn’t think he was worth at least the “low” tender of $2.133 million, but it is quite possible he is brought back on a cheaper deal. Odenigbo turns 27 next month, so youth is not on his side.

Vikings selected Northwestern DE Ifeadi Odeanigbo with the No. 220 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Odenigbo (6’3/258) spent his first two college seasons as a nickel rusher and started the final two, leading the Big Ten in sacks (10.0) as a senior and graduating with the second most sacks (23.5) in school history. Big Ten coaches voted him first-team all-conference last year. At the Combine, Odenigbo ran 4.72 and showed explosion with a 10-foot-7 broad jump. Odenigbo has a chance to be a useful special teamer and sub-package rusher in the pros.
