Colts selected Iowa State OT Jalen Travis with the No. 127 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
After four years and two second-team All-Ivy League selections at Princeton, Travis (6'7/339) transferred to Iowa State and started 11 games at left tackle in 2024. The athletic profile is very impressive. Travis has 34 7/8th-inch arms, and finished in the 97th percentile at the NFL combine with a 35-inch vertical jump. It feels almost cliche to say that the 6-foot-7 tackle had a problem getting low in his blocks, but … the 6-foot-7 tackle had a problem getting low on his blocks. Travis was a stellar pass protector for the Cyclones, allowing just one sack and nine hurries in 475 pass pro snaps per PFF. He could be a viable swing tackle prospect while Indy’s coaches take a crack at trying to help him stay anchored in the run game.
