NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports free agent WR Jarvis Landry is expected to join the Jaguars at rookie camp.
Landry missed all of the 2023 season after his 2022 with the Saints was cut short due to an ankle injury. Landry, 31, has appeared in 21 games over his last two seasons played, catching 77 passes for 842 yards and three touchdowns over that span. A career slot receiver who has played 67.1 percent of his snaps from the slot, Landry may not find much room in a Jaguars offense that featured Evan Engram and Christian Kirk a combined 658 times in the slot last season. However, a deal with the team is far from imminent. If reports on his performance are good out of rookie camp, it’s possible he catches on with another team in need of slot receiver help.

WR Jarvis Landry worked out for the Colts on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old Landry has yet to play this season, but with the Colts suspending WR Isaiah McKenzie, they held a workout that included Landry. While the former Cleveland Brown did not sign with the Colts immediately, they did add Jaydon Mickens to their practice squad.

Saints placed Jarvis Landry (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Landry was ruled out after a surprise DNP on Wednesday and another on Thursday. The fact that he missed a ton of time with an ankle condition earlier this year is concerning for his long-term health. Landry had just eight targets in his last three games, so hopefully you weren’t relying on him even in the deepest of leagues. He finishes the season with a 25/272/1 line on 39 targets and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2023.

Jarvis Landry (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.
Landry has been lightly used over the last several weeks, drawing just eight targets in his last three games while converting them to four receptions for 34 yards. Even if he’s active, Landry will be hard to trust for fantasy purposes given his relatively light workload. If Chris Olave (hamstring) is unable to suit up, Landry could have some value as a deep flier.

Jarvis Landry was held without a catch on one target in the Saints’ Week 15 win over the Falcons.
Landry now has 10 catches for 104 yards in five games since returning from his ankle injury, bookending the Saints’ Week 14 bye with 2/20. Needless to say, it is not looking like he will make a PPR impact the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.

Jarvis Landry caught 2-of-3 targets for 14 yards in the Saints’ Week 13 loss to the Buccaneers.
Landry hasn’t managed more than 37 yards since he went for 114 in the season opener. Fantasy managers that were duped by the tease can safely relinquish his services to the waiver wire.

Jarvis Landry caught 2-of-4 targets for 20 yards in the Saints’ Week 12 loss to the 49ers.
Landry has now gone for 37 yards or less in each of his last five games and has just one touchdown on the season. Far from the fantasy contributor he once was, he’s become a lost man in the Saints’ offense despite a Week 1 performance that saw him catch nine passes for 114 yards. Nothing more than a desperation FLEX play at this point, Landry will be hard to trust in Week 13 against the Buccaneers.

Jarvis Landry (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Landry returned from an early-season knee injury in Week 10. He has six catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in his two games back. A limited practice to start the week is typical for him. Sitting behind multiple players on the target totem pole, Landry is nothing more than a WR4/5 for Week 12.

Jarvis Landry caught 3-of-4 targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in New Orleans’ Week 11 win over the Rams.
It was his first score with the Saints. Landry has re-established himself as a low-target No. 3/No. 4 option for a Saints offense that doesn’t pass much, making him hard to play in fantasy as things stand. A tough matchup against the 49ers in Week 12 will not help matters.

Jarvis Landry (ankle) remained “limited” for Thursday’s practice.
The Saints are managing Landry’s reps after he made a successful return in Week 10. Check-down maestro Andy Dalton keeping his job under center is good for Landry’s cheap compiling odds, but he is the lowest-end of WR4s in this misfiring offense.
