Packers KR Will Blackmon (ACL surgery) has struggled to stay on the field the past couple of weeks.

Coach Mike McCarthy conceded that Blackmon is going through “a bad spot right now” after playing in the first two preseason games. WR Jason Chery, no lock to make the team, will return kicks this week. Brandon Jackson and Jordy Nelson are options on kickoffs, and Sam Shields may get another look on punts.
