Brown

Peguese was a Ryan Grigson favorite out of Hampton last year, but he was out of football all last season and apparently didn’t show much in the offseason conditioning program. Brown spent the year with the AFL’s San Antonio Talons.

A second-year undrafted free agent out of Illinois, this will be Brown’s first go-round on an active roster. A sixth-round pick in 2010, Geathers appeared in five games for the Cowboys last season. Both players will likely be limited to special-teams duty.

Brown was the passenger in the car, and Brent has been booked in Irving (TX) County jail on charges of intoxicated manslaughter. Brown was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts in 2011 and appeared in one regular season game this year prior to being waived and subsequently signed to the Dallas practice squad. Owner and GM Jerry Jones released the following statement: “We are deeply saddened by the news of this accident and the passing of Jerry Brown. At this time, our hearts and prayers and deepest sympathies are with the members of Jerry’s family and all of those who knew him and loved him.”
