Ravens signed DT John Jenkins to a one-year contract.
The 35-year-old 13th-year pro slides in as a 1-for-1 Michael Pierce replacement after the former Raven retired in March. Although strictly a two-down player, Jenkins actually played a new career high 606 snaps for the Raiders last season. He probably won’t reach that total in Baltimore, but he should see plenty of work as a run-stopper.
  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Raiders signed DT John Jenkins, formerly of the Dolphins.
Jenkins is a former third-round pick of the Saints but is on the verge of playing for his fourth team in six years. With just 30 career starts in 116 games, Jenkins is little more than a rotational player on defense. He has just 2.5 career sacks to his name and hasn’t tallied a TFL since 2019.

  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Dolphins re-signed DT John Jenkins to an undisclosed contract.
Jenkins played seven games for the Dolphins in 2021, but only logged more than 10 snaps in four games. He recorded 12 tackles and two hurries. Formerly a third-round pick by the Saints in 2013, the 33-year-old (in July) will serve as defensive tackle depth.

  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Dolphins signed DT John Jenkins, formerly of the Bears, to a one-year contract.
A rotational lineman along the interior, Jenkins was limited to 11 games by a thumb issue in Chicago last season. He appeared in all 16 contests for the Dolphins in 2019, making five starts. If he makes the team, he should play 20-30 weekly snaps.

  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Bears placed DT John Jenkins on injured reserve with a thumb injury.
The rotational tackle has played 59 snaps through two weeks. He must now miss a minimum of three games.

  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Bears activated DT John Jenkins from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
He’ll compete for a roster spot after playing 480 snaps for Miami last year.

  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Bears placed DT John Jenkins on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
There was no update on Jenkins’ condition. The 31-year-old veteran was added as depth in late April. Jenkins is not guaranteed a 53-man roster spot after playing 480 snaps for the Dolphins last season.

  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Bears signed DT John Jenkins, formerly of the Dolphins, to a one-year contract.
Jenkins made five starts and played 480 snaps for the 5-11 Dolphins last season. He made eight 2017 appearances for the Bears before heading to the Giants before his Dolphins year. Now on the wrong side of 30, Jenkins will be tasked with little more than taking up space in the middle of the Bears’ defensive line.

  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
Impending free agent DT John Jenkins hopes to re-sign with the Dolphins.
Jenkins made five starts and played 43 percent of snaps in a semi-regular role with Miami last year. Bringing him back would give the Dolphins some leadership on their defensive line. 30-year-old Jenkins shouldn’t cost much more than the veteran minimum.
  • BAL Defensive Tackle #94
    Giants re-signed DT John Jenkins.
A former third-round pick by the Saints back in 2013, Jenkins’ winding road landed him with the Giants last season, where he made seven appearances. He will compete for a rotational role in training camp.
