  • Tight End #86
Kevin Foote of The Advocate reports that Louisiana-Lafayette redshirt junior TE Johnny Lumpkin will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
Lumpkin did not play in Louisiana-Lafayette’s opener versus Mississippi State as result of his shoulder injury. It did not appear initially that Lumpkin’s injury was this severe, but it couldn’t have been good if the team decided to shut him down for the year. Lumpkin (6'6/242) caught just six passes for 67 yards a season ago. He was primed for an increased workload this year, but that will have to wait for 2020.
