49ers undrafted rookie LB Keaton Kristick pleaded innocent Wednesday to charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Kristick, a former Oregon State Beaver, allegedly took a joyride on a golf cart along with two of his college teammates in mid-March. The charge is a felony. This won’t help his already long odds of making the Niners’ roster.

49ers undrafted rookie LB Keaton Kristick received probation and community service after pleading guilty to a lesser charge in his unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Kristick and two other Oregon State football players took an athletic department golf cart on a joyride, flipping it over, and leaving it in a handicapped parking space. Kristick was a first-team all-Pac 10 linebacker last season. He remains a longshot to make the 49ers’ roster.

49ers waived QB Jarrett Brown, DT Will Tukuafu, WR Kevin Jurovich, LB Keaton Kristick, S Chris Maragos, and WR Bobby Guillory.
Alex Boone appears to have made the 53. Brown, undrafted out of West Virginia, looked good at the Senior Bowl, but never put a hint of pressure on Nate Davis for the No. 3 QB job. (Davis, by the way, was kept on the team).

Kristick, undrafted out of Oregon State, is headed for a reserve/special teams role.

    49ers waived LB Keaton Kristick.
The special teamer goes to make room for QB Scott Tolzien. Coming off an ankle injury, Kristick does have practice squad eligibility.
