Rookie QB Keith Null will get “plenty of opportunities” to nail down the third quarterback job.
Null reportedly displayed a decent arm at minicamp and will need to pick up the offense in training camp to lock up the job.
  • CAR Quarterback
Rams selected West Texas A&M QB Keith Null with the No. 196 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Null (6'3/222) wasn’t invited to the Senior Bowl or Combine. He lacks ideal arm strength and mobility, but did show outstanding accuracy at the D-IAA level, completing 68% of his passes as a junior and senior. Rams OC Pat Shurmer will try to develop Null into a backup in his new West Coast offense.
  • CAR Quarterback
Rams agreed to terms with sixth-round QB Keith Null on a four-year contract.
A long shot prospect from D-IAA West Texas A&M, Null will be new OC Pat Shurmur’s pet project behind Marc Bulger and Kyle Boller. That, of course, is assuming Null beats out journeyman Brock Berlin to be the club’s third QB.
  • CAR Quarterback
Rams declared third QB Keith Null, S Anthony Smith, S Craig Dahl, OG Roger Allen III, OL John Greco, WR Ruvell Martin, DE Victor Adeyanju, and DT Darell Scott inactive for Week 2.
They’re virtually the same as Week 1’s inactives, save DT LaJuan Ramsey being “up” for the first time. He replaced OT Eric Young on the club.
  • CAR Quarterback
The battle for the Rams No. 3 quarterback spot between rookie Keith Null and veteran Brock Berlin is a “continued battle” and too close to call.
Null would be the favorite if the decision was made today, as he was brought in by the current staff and Berlin is a Scott Linehan holdover. Still, expect the Rams to keep a close eye on A.J. Feeley, who may be on the outs in Philadelphia after the Mike Vick signing.
  • CAR Quarterback
Keith Null held off Brock Berlin and emerged as the Rams’ No. 3 QB.
He’s a project that will have a chance to develop behing Marc Bulger and Kyle Boller. That is, unless the Rams go get a veteran like A.J. Feeley.
  • CAR Quarterback
Rams declared third QB Keith Null, S Anthony Smith, S Craig Dahl, T Eric Young, G Roger Allen III, G John Greco, DE Victory Adeyanju, and DT LaJuan Ramsey inactive for Week 1 against Seattle.
Marc Bulger will start and has his entire supporting cast with him.
  • BAL Quarterback
Marc Bulger (shoulder) will be the third quarterback if he is active Sunday.
The Rams are wisely keeping him far away from this game. Kyle Boller will start and rookie Keith Null will be his backup.
  • LAC Quarterback
Kyle Boller (questionable, swine flu) missed Rams practice on Friday.
Rookie Keith Null took all the first-team practice reps this week and is a virtual lock to make his second straight start against Houston. Null threw five picks last Sunday at Tennessee, including one that was returned for six points.
  • CAR Quarterback
Keith Null is starting for the Rams in their Week 16 game against Arizona.
It was reported early Sunday morning that Kyle Boller would get the start for Steve Spagnuolo’s Rams, but it makes more sense to start the sixth-round pick out of West Texas A&M. Kenneth Darby started at running back, in place of Steven Jackson.
